Umbro GT II Pro: Orange Popsicles in Winter
Soon to be seen on the feet of stars such as Spurs and England defender Kyle Walker and Sunderland’s young England striker Connor Wickham, the new Umbro GT II pro boot is designed for the player who likes to stand out on the pitch. Building on the innovations of the original Umbro GT boot, the new upgrade is our lightest boot yet, with uppers crafted from a Japanese micro-fibre to provide both softness and strength, while the asymmetric concealed lacing providing a greater strike zone.
The GT II is built on a new anatomical last, designed to provide a better fit, whilst also reducing the weight of the boots. The FG version of the boot even features hollowed out blades to further lighten the load. The SG version you see here has aerospace engineered aluminium studs to keep the lightweight theme running throughout the GT II Pro.
The graphics and the colourways for the new Umbro GT II have been inspired by the idea of speed and movement, with this launch design officially termed ‘blue radiance/orange popsicle’. It’s a look that’s sure to get you noticed on the pitch, and captures the idea behind the GT perfectly: ‘Who Dares Wins’.
The new Umbro GT II Pro boots will be on sale at Umbro.com in December, so you should be spotting them on a pitch near you soon!
