The FA UMBRO Fives finals went off with a bang on Sunday (23rd Nov) - despite some Baltic conditions for spectators and players alike – with Wembley providing the perfect setting for the 40 teams to provide some amazing five-a-side action.

We’ve got some video being worked up as we speak, which I’ll put on here as soon as possible, which will give you a flavour of the day and what a premium event experience this is for the brand. But don’t take my word for it, below are a couple of the letters of thanks we’ve had back from the teams that took part.

The men’s winners were Top Ballerz from North London (above), who took the final on penalties after a scintillating final under the floodlights, and the Liverbird’s cruised to glory in the women’s final, boasting some of the England ladies team in their ranks (showing the high regard the tournament and the opportunity to play at Wembley is held in).

I just want to say thank you very much for the Umbro Fives tournament, it was very good yesterday .this is best 5 a side football tournament for all time. Thank you again.

The players of Ummah United would like to give a warm thanks (should i say a COLD, due to the weather) to everyone who helped in organising the umbro fives and making it a very enjoyable experience. Thanks to the FA, Umbro for providing kits and the extras, thanks to Matthew and Jamie, who were guiding us around the stadium and giving us support. Thanks again.

Just a quick email to say that I thought yesterday’s event was superb.

It was really well organised, facilitated and managed from start to finish and, if the main object was around the ‘quality of experience’ for the players, it was a job well and truly done.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be involved, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
