Tailored In Manchester: Orphan Boy
For the latest instalment of Tailored In Manchester – where Umbro invites the best upcoming bands to check out what we’re up to down at our Dale Street studio – we’re introducing a group who aren’t actually from Manchester. However, punkish trio Orphan Boy have been adopted by the city since they moved from Grimsby, and you can certainly hear Manchester’s musical past reflected in their atmospheric, grimey ‘council-pop’ (their description). You can learn more about the band in the video below, in which two members of the band talk about what makes Orphan Boy who they are, or click the link here to hear more of their music – Some Frontier in particular is a cracking track.
