WHITE SPECIALI
If you were watching the England vs Slovakia game at the weekend you may have noticed John Terry and David James wearing our new white Speciali boot. 283 pairs of the Limited Edition England Speciali boots have been produced by Umbro to mark the launch of the New England home shirt.

The Speciali has developed a reputation as a classic boot chosen by those players who favour simple elegance over modern designs.

The boots show a traditional subtle integration of state of the art technologies, including a covered lacing which helps provide total ball control and unparalleled style. Meanwhile, the original Italian K leather makes for the ultimate comfort and feel. The boot also features the New England Crest on the outsole of the boot.

There will be 50 pairs of the Limited Edition Speciali boot with a Limited Edition box and boot care kit available at Umbro’s Tailored by England store based at Village Undeground, Holywell Lane, London, EC2A 3PQ from 9.00am today.

The Umbro players will be wearing the boots at the Ukraine game again this evening.

There is always the debate about non-black boots most notable recently around Ronaldo wearing his pink Nike Mecurial Vapor Rosa. Most of our players usually opt for the black versions of the boots or colours similar to their team kits. What do you think about coloured boots (boots that aren’t black) and more importantly the new Umbro Speciali?

UPDATE: John just happened to bag the winner in these last night against the Ukraine and take England into an enviable position in Group 6.  Nice footwork.  :)

I wish more Umbro boots were like this, they should make some other colours in this design.

Hello Tom. I really really love this special edition. Do you have any idea if it will be released in the States somehow? If so, do you think you can email me about it?

    p.s.
Cristiano Ronaldo never actually wore the Pink version. Only Citron and etc.
