Who are you trying to fool here? These “new” shirts are at least a year old. The shirt Owen is wearing is the (2 year old) Englaterra template, modelled on England’s 2008 away kit. The other shirts in the photos have been on the umbrofootballkits site for 12 months and all have the old style elongated Umbro logos.
Has this story simply been published prematurely and there are indeed teamwear versions of the “Tailored” kits coming out soon, or are you hoping no one would notice these were much older? I am hoping the former as I’d love to get my hands on a few – particularly a red version of the Repubic of Ireland shirt. I noticed the ROTW team at Socceraid wore a royal blue version of the City home kit template – are these going to be available as part of the teamwear range?
