There’s a hardcore of gamers in the office and over the last few months they’ve been badgering us to get involved in gaming and in particular Pro-Evolution Soccer.  For the uninitiated Pro-Evo (as it’s known) is a football game for the Xbox, Playstation 3, PC and Wii, where you can choose to play as one of a selection of teams at country or club level.

We’re doing a couple of things with Pro Evo and the publishers, Konami. The first is we’re launching the new kit in game (as a download) from this Saturday. This is a first. Usually kits are only released at the start of each season. We’re quite chuffed about this.

Secondly, we’re going to be running a weekly competition to find the best goal scored in Pro-Evo.  There’s already a heap of Pro-Evo videos of goals on youtube which are worth checking out. Some of the skill that goes into those goals is great and, we think, worth celebrating.  The weekly competition will kick off in mid-April so check back here for more information. In the meantime remember to download your kit on Saturday.

Konami’s download will be available for the Xbox, PS3 and Microsoft an hour before the Slovakia game when the new kit is unveiled to the world stage.
