Staff Profile: Neil, Equipment Co-ordinator
Occasionally on this blog we plan to profile some of the many different people who work here at Umbro. To kick things off I roped in Neil, who dropped by this afternoon, to answer some questions…”
How long have you been here and what do you do?
My role is being an Equipment Co-ordinator, I do various tasks relating to equipment and accessories so I guess that title is generic enough to cover them
What would other people say you did ?
They don’t, I regularly get asked what exactly it is my role is?
Where would you like to see Umbro going?
I would think the same as everyone, to be back at the top again as an iconic British brand
What other brands do you admire and why?
Gas – a quality Italian fashion brand
What do you think is the best/worst kit that Umbro have produced?
The best kit was the 1990 white England world cup kit, the worst was that grey Man Utd one that Fergie claimed was difficult to see, it wasn’t difficult to see it was just horrible
What memory of football do you hold most dear?
Winning the domestic double (stockport sunday morning version) last season in my first year at a new club
If I weren’t doing this, I’d be….
Answering emails about actual work…
That’s it from Neil – look out for more staff profiles in the weeks ahead.

We all have to start somewhere. At least if you’re bad, there is room for improvement!
