The 00/01 is a classic England shirt…it stripped away all the unnecessary flashes of red etc and gave out a strong image…(shame the team couldn’t live up to it). The dark navy shorts also added to the ‘no messing’ style.

Both of the kits are great but the 2000-01 should be top since it has a strong , classic look to it , Flashy colours don’t matter , what matters is the statement and meaning to it.

I agree with Rich. The earlier kit is clean and simple. That vertical red stripe and the blue piping make the latter look a tad busy. I’ll always favor solid shirts and kits over those that are accented.
