Competition Terms And Conditions
1. The Competition
a) Entrants to the competition are bound by the entry instructions as published on http://blog.umbro.com and these terms and conditions.
b) The competition will run from 9am Wednesday 23rd December 2009 – 5pm Wednesday 23nd December 2009
2. The Promoter
The promoter of the competition is Umbro International Limited whose registered office is Umbro House, Lakeside, Cheadle, Cheshire SK8 3GQ.
3. The Prize
a) The prize consists of one item from the list published on the Umbro Blog. The best entry will be selected by an independent adjudicator.
b) No cash alternative will be offered and this prize is not transferable to any other person.
c) In the event of unforeseen circumstances the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
d) No entrant may win more than one prize.
4. Entry Conditions
a) To enter the competition entrants must leave a comment on either the Umbro Blog, Facebook or Twitter page with the answer to the question “What is your favourite football memory of 2009 relating to the number 5?” their name, age and email address.
b) All entrants under the age of 18 must have gained the permission of their parent or guardian before entering the competition.
c) Incomplete entries or those which are not in accordance with the entry instructions will be invalid.
5. Notification of Winner
a) The winner will be selected from the best answer to the competition question on Monday 21st December.
b) The entrants will be notified personally via email that they are a winner, within 1 day of the selection dates in clause 5(a).
c) The winner’s names will be available on request from the promoter after the closing date.
d) The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into other than with the winner.
6. Eligibility
a) This competition is open to all United Kingdom residents.
b) The following persons are not eligible to enter the Competition: (i) employees of any business involved or associated with the Competition (including Umbro and its associated companies) and (ii) any such person’s family or household members. Umbro reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
7. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arsing wherefrom.
